This is a hand drafted custom sewing pattern. There are no instructions included. PLEASE TEST THE PATTERN USING MUSLIN FABRIC FIRST!
The size is:
36" bust
31" waist
Difficulty level: Medium
The pattern comes with bodice pieces. 5/8" seam allowances used. Fabrics recommended: 100% cotton, velvet, velveteen.
Materials:
1/4 yard velvet
5/8 yards cotton
5/8 yard lightweight interfacing
12" cluny lace trim (for corset)
1 2/3 yards cotton cording (corset)
1/2 yard lace trim
1 yard satin ribbon 3/8" wide
16-18" zipper
Straps:
12-14" long (plus seam allowance) rectangles, cut/tear cross grain (not bias), strap width+3/8" x 2 = strap width. Fold in half inside out and sew up the side at 3/8" then turn right side out and press.
Ex: 1" wide straps
1+3/8" = 1 3/8 " x 2 = 2.75" strap 2.75" wide
Skirt recommendations:
Gathered 5 panel skirt
or
1/2, 3/4, or full circle skirt at desired length.
(Approx. 3-4 yards plus extra for gathered ruffle)
